The flyingYOUTH programme aims to promote aviation and assist students to make informed decisions relating to aviation career choices. The launching of flyingYOUTH is an initiative to make our products available to Secondary Schools as part of the government’s social development programme. To ensure that the programme succeeds and sustainable in future, we need the support of businesses, flying schools and the general public to sponsor a Secondary School in their area. The programme consists of online theoretical courseware, manuals, workbooks, glossaries and assessments with a recommended study period of 12 months.

SECONDARY SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP
Scholars are able to register their school and participate in the programme with the necessary sponsorship based on a monthly contribution for the school nominated by the sponsor.
A sponsorship of R695.00 per month will enable UNLIMITED scholars to register with flyingYOUTH at the nominated school. We aim to extend the programme to flying schools and aviation training institutions for their involvement to ensure that students receive the necessary exposure and insight that will assist them in making that very important career choice. We will ensure that the necessary assistance is given to the students during their stay with us and feedback is given to our sponsors, schools and parents.
We can give our sponsors the assurance that their sponsorships are fully committed towards the sustainability of the programme, enhancing learning material and future development. We appreciate your support and thank you for the interest shown in the programme.
The aim of Next-Step is to further encourage young people to consider flying and aviation careers. Key elements include the flyingYOUTH Programme, saPilot Online Academy, First-Flight Lesson and Flight Scholarship.
